Afanas is the type of stag to be kind and understand one minute then can be mean spirited and spiteful the next. No one ever knows where the stand with the stag. When he is in a good mood he can be very kind and an easy stag to talk too; you can just sit there and talk all day with him. He would do anything for anyone if they asked; does and stag alike and enjoys the presence of little fawns. On the other side he can be an absolute ass; if you come anywhere near him to try and strike a conversation you will be quickly stricken down and have a quick snide comment before he would storm off. He can be short tempered at anyone; more so at does and fawns. He has even been known to strike out on does and fawns in the past or younger stags if he is sure the stag won't win. His split personality upsets him greatly and has made himself exclude himself from any kind of company or herd to make sure he won't hurt anyone else.
